Infrastructure

We have been involved in Roads and Rail.
We have contributed to The Network Rail Electrification project on the Greater West Line.  Installing substations, HV, LV and other enabling works for this project to Network Rail standards. Works also involved SSE and WPD works facilitation.

New build substations for the Electrification project for UKPN and Network Rail

These substations included Radley, Filton, Westerleigh, Hulavington and Doctor Days in Bristol.

EC&I.  Project Engineering and Project/Programme Management; nuclear Power Station projects for EDF.
Locations included Heysham 1, Sellafield, Hinkley Point C and Wylfa.

Educational Design and New Build PhD Student Accommodation


At the University of Bath we worked on with various stakeholders the design stage of the Polden Project as being one of seven projects.  It has 293 en suite bedrooms in 37 flats across two buildings arranged around a landscaped courtyard.  Facilities in Polden also includes a gym, communal study spaces, drying rooms and cycle storage.The value of the project is £34.5 million for this PhD residential accommodation new build.  The modular bathroom Pods were made bespoke for the university.

Education:- Gym Extension

A mixed use gym extension for public and educational use.  This project was successfully handed over in time for the January peak membership subscriptions.

Decommissioning

Projects in high security conscious areas of nuclear activity.  More recently in 2017 decomissioning manufacturing environments at Rolls-Royce manufacturing.  Here you can see steel cutting for the ATX on a substation (Non nuclear environment).

Demolition

Concrete cutting and demolition have been extensively used for a vast number of projects.  Here you can see concrete being broken out with a pecker.

Modular Build and Design

In collaboration with WACO UK Limited we have successfully installed and maintained extensive modular buildings and systems in high security conscious areas.  We have also refurbished modular buildings to extend their previous predicted life cycles. 

Estates Management

Utilities.

Separate drainage being installed for foul and storm drains.  Excavations being battered back.

Refurbishment and Restoration of Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings.

Shaw House was one project near Newbury; was originally built in 1581 by Thomas Dolman.  This was a restoration project and conversion to council use activities/offices.

Office fit-outs.

We have extensive experience in the upgrading of Crown Courts and Combined Courts installing LAN and WAN infrastructure. 
These courts have included Taunton Crown Court, Bournmouth Crown Court, Swindon combined court, Reading Crown Court and Cheshire Crown Court.
In completing this and other projects we have completed office fit outs for various buildings and an additional call center in EC1.
